CONSERVATION IN ACTION
PROTECTING THE PLACES WE EXPLORE.
Every Ecobiosfera tour includes a conservation fee. Together with our own funds, these fees help support community-led conservation in El Triunfo.
Your journey is part of something bigger.
Conservation begins with the people who know and care for these places. In El Triunfo, tour conservation fees and Ecobiosfera’s own funds help support community ranger patrols and training. Separately, our own funds support community conservation and bird monitoring in La Pera and Villa Allende.
Our role is to help sustain this work. Community rangers, local monitors and conservation partners bring the knowledge, commitment and presence that make it possible.

Supporting the people who protect the forest
Since 2025, Ecobiosfera Expediciones has supported Guardianes del Jaguar, a team of eight community rangers from Tres de Mayo working in El Triunfo.
Their patrols contribute to biodiversity monitoring and help maintain trails and reserve infrastructure. Our support also includes training in first aid and Leave No Trace practices.

Shared experience. Stronger conservation.
In May 2026, Ecobiosfera supported a gathering of 40 community rangers and reserve staff from El Triunfo, in collaboration with CONANP, FONCET and Senda Sustentable A.C. The gathering created a space to share experiences, discuss challenges and strengthen a shared commitment to conservation.
LA PERA & VILLA ALLENDE · CHIAPAS
Listening to the forest
Community bird monitoring brings together local knowledge and ecological research in Berriozábal, Chiapas. Participants from Efraín Gutiérrez work alongside Senda Sustentable A.C., UNICACH’s Evolutionary Ecology Laboratory and the Villa Allende protected area.
ReMoLaP, La Pera and Villa Allende Ornithological Monitoring Network, is an initiative of Senda Sustentable. Ecobiosfera is the principal funder of the work described here, supporting activities across 2025–2026.
FUNDED BY ECOBIOSFERA
This work is supported through Ecobiosfera’s own funds, not through tour conservation fees.

Conservation is a shared commitment.
Alongside the communities and project partners highlighted above, FONCET, El Triunfo Conservation Foundation, Senda Sustentable A.C. and Spirit of Alchemy are allies in our conservation vision. Each collaboration plays a distinct role in helping us connect travel, nature and conservation.
Thank you for being part of the journey.
To everyone who has journeyed with us to El Triunfo over the years—and especially those who joined us this year—thank you. You are part of a story rooted in cloud forests, birdsong and the people who care for these extraordinary places.
As that story continues, we invite you to explore our new itineraries: journeys shaped by the character of each landscape and the knowledge of the people who call it home. We look forward to sharing more unique experiences, in unique places, with you.
Claudia Virgen, 2026.
